Event Programs

Every year, we produce a variety of event and specialty programs. Some recent clients include Habitat For Humanity Canada, the Fight For Youth Boxing Championship, the Niagara Jazz Festival, the Welland Food Festival, 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards, Niagara IceDogs, the FISA World Rowing Masters, and Canoe Niagara – just to name a few!

Here are some of our most notable projects:

40 Under Forty Niagara & 40 Under Forty Hamilton

To celebrate the winners of its annual 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards, Business Link Media Group publishes a digest-sized magazine to serve as the program on the night of the awards. This allows us to showcase the winners and their respective companies. It also serves as a keepsake to all gala attendees, alumni and award recipients.

We produce a similar program guide for our annual 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards in Hamilton.

Habitat for Humanity

We were excited to assist Habitat for Humanity with the production of their annual conference program. It’s been a pleasure working with such a recognized leader and advocate for, and provision of, affordable housing. We look forward to helping them create the next program. #HabitatForHumanity

Ice Dogs

The 2014-2015 hockey season was a momentous occasion for the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs. After playing in the Jack Gatecliff Arena for seven years, the team officially relocated to the new state-of-the-art Meridian Centre. In order to commemorate this exciting chapter in IceDogs’ history, Business Link Media Group created a limited edition Niagara IceDogs – 2014-2015 Yearbook to be sold on opening night. With its action photography, prospect reports, team histories and fun facts, this one-of-a-kind collectors edition was a big hit, both on and off the ice.

Jazz Fest

In 2014, several stakeholders decided to launch a new world-class jazz festival here in the Niagara Region, much in the same vein as the Montreal International Jazz Festival. The Niagara Jazz Festival would feature a wide cross-section of artists – offering up everything from classic to Latin to contemporary jazz. And what better way to mark this inaugural event than with its very own official program? Our creative team worked closely with the Niagara Jazz Festival’s artistic directors to create a digest-sized event guide that would satisfy festival goers’ every need. The resulting guide featured artist bios, a schedule of events, maps, and full details on concert venues and locations – making it the perfect handbook for a new wave of jazz aficionados.

Fight for Youth

In 2012, Canadian boxing legend Spider Jones founded the Fight for Youth Boxing Championship in Toronto to help benefit his youth charity – Believe To Achieve. Looking to raise money for at-risk youth in Niagara, lead sponsor BayShore Groups brought this professional boxing event to the St. Catharines area in the spring of 2017. BayShore Groups enlisted Business Link Media Group to develop a full-colour event program which included a complete boxing schedule and detailed information on the various athletes.
