Launched in 2004, Niagara 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards program has become one of the region’s most anticipated annual events, celebrating young leaders making a difference in their fields and communities.
Over more than two decades, the program has recognized 800+ professionals, each leaving a unique mark on Niagara’s economic, cultural, and social development. From entrepreneurs and executives to educators, healthcare workers, and community advocates, recipients exemplify excellence and leadership.

About the 2026 Awards
The Niagara 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards recognize outstanding young professionals who are making a meaningful impact across Niagara’s business community.
The 2026 recipients represent a diverse range of industries and reflect the innovation, leadership, and community involvement shaping the region today. This year, the program received a record number of nominations, reflecting the continued growth, engagement, and strength of Niagara’s business community. In addition to the main awards, special recognitions—including the Best in Class Award and the Alumni Impact Award—will be presented during the evening.

Business Achievement Awards Gala Recap
On May 28, 2026, more than 350 guests gathered at the Holiday Inn & Suites St. Catharines to celebrate Niagara’s outstanding young business leaders at the 23rd Annual Niagara 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards Gala. The evening brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, alumni, and community leaders to recognize 40 exceptional individuals whose leadership, innovation, and dedication continue to shape Niagara’s business community.
The evening’s highlights included the presentation of the 40 Under Forty Alumni Impact Award to 2019 alumnus Mayor Mat Siscoe, presented by Tom Nitsopoulos of Holiday Inn & Suites St. Catharines, recognizing his continued leadership and contributions to the region. The Best in Class Award was presented by Sarah Pritula of Habitat for Humanity Niagara to Felicia Izaguirre Werner in recognition of her outstanding leadership and meaningful impact in the Niagara community.
