2024 Niagara 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards Gala

Business Link Media Group proudly honoured Niagara's finest at the 2024 Class 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards ceremony. The 21st annual gala event, held on May 29th at Club Italia in Niagara Falls, was attended by 350 people who recognized the incredible achievements of these business leaders. Proud family members, friends, employers, and community partners participated in the celebration.

 

Masters of ceremony Jessica Potts and Zach Dadson introduced 40 award recipients, representing a diverse range of local entrepreneurs, business professionals, and members of the non-profit sector. The celebration was attended by prominent local dignitaries, and past award-winners, including Mayor Jim Diodati, Mayor Mat Siscoe, MP Tony Baldinelli’s representative John Vujasic, Niagara Region councillor Bob Gale, Niagara Falls Councillor Mona Patel, and 24 esteemed alumni, who showed solidarity and encouragement by attending the event.

 

2019 Alumnus Mayor Siscoe warmly welcomed all guests. In addition, 2004 alumnus Mayor Diodati as the first-year recipient of this award introduced the 40 Under Forty Alumni Impact Award and its criteria. The Alumni Impact Award was presented by Jaye Toulouse, Vice President of RBC, to April Jeffs from the class of 2012, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the growth and prosperity of Niagara. The open ceremony concluded with a reflection by Krystle Caputo, a 2021 Alumna from the 40 Under Forty Alumni community, followed by a fine dinner.

 

Marilyn Tian, President of Business Link Media Group, expressed her sincere appreciation to sponsors, volunteers, and stakeholders, emphasizing the program's support for the local business community. She highlighted the integrity and community as significant aspects of the 40 Under Forty program in nurturing and supporting the local business community and emphasized the power of unity and collaboration.

Business Link Media Group congratulates the winners and expresses gratitude to all involved for their ongoing commitment. Ana McKnight from Niagara College was awarded the highly anticipated Best in Class honor for her exceptional achievements and contributions to the Niagara community. The founder of Elevate Living, Drew Toth, a 2021 alumnus and the recipient of the Best in Class award in 2021, sponsored and presented this year's Best in Class award.

Since 2003, Business Link Media Group has proudly sponsored the 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards, which recognizes 40 businesspeople under the age of 40 for their business success and contributions to the Niagara and Hamilton communities. Over the past 21 years, the Business Link Media Group’s 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Awards have honored over 840 of Niagara’s and 400 of Hamilton's business leaders.
